Transparent, all-in pricing — what you see at checkout is what you pay. Below is the full breakdown of how trips are priced, what's included, the add-ons we offer, and our payment schedule.

What's included in the trip price
Every Chalo Folks trip is sold as a single all-in price covering the items below. There are no hidden fees on top of what you see at checkout.
Accommodation
Hand-picked stays for every night of the trip, ranging from heritage hotels to boutique lodges. All on a twin-shared basis (private-room upgrade available — see add-ons).
Internal transport
Private air-conditioned vehicles for all transfers and city-to-city journeys. Train tickets, domestic flights and metro passes when listed in the itinerary.
Local guides & host
All site visits with licensed local guides and the trip hosted in person by Anna. Briefings, walking tours, and on-trip advice are part of the price.
Selected meals
Daily breakfast at every hotel. Several signature meals with local hosts (typically 4–6 dinners or lunches per trip). Other meals are at your own cost so you can explore at your own pace.
Entrance fees & activities
Every site, monument, museum and experience listed in the published itinerary is covered — including Taj Mahal entry, fort tickets, cultural performances and craft demonstrations.
24/7 on-trip support
Anna and our on-the-ground team are available around the clock for the entire trip — for issues big or small.

The items below are not part of the headline trip price — please plan for them separately.
- International flights to and from India
- Tourist or e-Visa fees (typically USD $25–$80 depending on nationality)
- Travel insurance — required by our Booking Conditions
- Personal expenses (laundry, mini-bar, calls, souvenirs)

No added taxes or fees
The price you see is the price you pay.
Our trips are designed for international travellers, so no taxes are added at checkout. There are no booking fees, payment processing fees or currency-conversion surcharges on top of the headline trip price either — you only pay for the trip and any optional add-ons you choose.
Payment schedule
When you're charged depends on how far in advance you book.
More than 60 days before departure
- Pay a 50% deposit at checkout to lock your seat.
- Balance is due 30 days before the trip starts.
- Pay the balance any time from your dashboard — we'll send a reminder before it's due.
60 days or less before departure
- Pay the full trip price at checkout.
- Late bookings need full payment up front so we can confirm rooms, transport and guides.
Currencies & payment methods
We accept payments from anywhere — pick the option that suits you at checkout.
International — PayPal (USD)
Pay in US dollars using PayPal balance, credit card or debit card. Works from any country. Currency conversion happens through PayPal at their published rate; we add no surcharge.
India — Razorpay (INR)
For travellers paying in India: UPI, net banking, credit/debit cards and wallets through Razorpay. Pricing is converted to INR at the live exchange rate at checkout.
